live/wire hail from the Basel region and have been playing AC/DC at high voltage since 2002: loud, direct, fully charged. The band grew out of Riff Raff and Jailbreak, two cover bands whose names were clearly not picked up in a sailors’ choir. Since then, the engines have been running under full load: more than fifty songs in the hold, the big breakers, the old crisp riffs, the brilliant solos, and rarities for those who knowingly nod at «If You Want Blood…» or «Powerage». Däny has the AC/DC throat, Cello storms across the planks in Angus school uniform, while rhythm guitar, bass and drums keep the vessel dead straight on course. Nothing gets watered down here; this is rock driven cleanly forward. Depending on the night, there may be bell, cannon, bagpipes, the full cutlery from hell. AC/DC was always electricity, sweat, riff, battering ram. At FLOSS that means: «Let there be rock. For those about to rock – we salute you!»
