Kulturstiftung H. Geiger presents
Let’s kick of this text with an important detail: The singer, musician, and songwriter Rolf Stahlhofen has a non-profit organization called “Menschen am Fluss” (People by the River), and that's something that must resonate with us from the FLOSS festival. The project came about as follows: 2002, he organized a benefit concert for flood victims in East Germany. Since then, the association regularly organizes such events and donates the proceeds to the “poorest of the world”. Rolf Stahlhofen is a dazzling artistic personality, having grown up in many countries, worked as a tour manager for rock legends like the Rolling Stones, been a member of the legendary Söhne Mannheims crew, and part of the ensemble of “Tabaluga”, Peter Maffay's re-known musical, with which he embarked on an extensive tour. Stahlhofen is committed, a strong voice for social justice, a magnificent and versatile musician who always remains authentic. And above all, he is truly humane. But remember: “Grosse Mädchen weinen nicht” (“Grown-up girls don't cry”).
